Thisseems to be the newest line that search engine sales people are using when calling our law firm. For the most part, my assistant does a great job screening these calls, but when I am "on call" after hours that is first line I get from them while I am overhearing their coworkers saying the same line to someone else in the background. I am not sure if they are in some boiler room where they are "cold calling" a bunch of lawyers in order to hook one, but it does not work with me. Since I am on the "do not call list" at my home I rarely get telemarkerters contacting my home phone, but I am unable to avoid these people when it comes to my business phone. I have resorted to telling them the folllowing: Yes, I am swamped...do you know of any Houston DWI Lawyer that can help me. This throws them off their game and off their prepared script. What is more annoying is that they found my blog and not my website. If that had found my website they would have known that I am ranking quite well in this area and because of that I would not want to switch to their company.
