While most petitions for Occupational Licenses in Harris County, Texas must be filed with the County Civil Court they are typically taken care of in the County Criminal Court where the DWI is/was being heard.  As long as the person's case is pending, on probation, or in the DIVERT program the original court will hear the petition.   Additionally, the Criminal Court will have a worksheet to be filed out by the person seeking the restricted license.  The following is the one used by Harris County Criminal Court at Law #13:
